Illegal downloading of music proves to be resilient.

Summary/Analysis: Nowadays, the music industry deals with a very big issue that seems to be never resolvable. Music theft. My research paper was essentially based upon studies of this article. In it, the author describes the different methods that music industries have tried to make buying music more feasible. He compares the fight between music industries and peer to peer sharing a game of whack-a-mole. He also describes the trend between music lawsuits and sharing rates. Everytime a lawsuit is filed, followed is a month of low activity, then it rises again. No matter what limit they put on stopping music sharing, people will always have a way to bypass the system. I thought this article was interesting because (1) within the context of the class, and (2) this issue has always been an controversial issue and its always fun to see the different viewpoints of different people.
